Not at all! Every set of lashes is completely customized to look as natural or as "Kardashian" as you wish. Customization includes eyelash length, curl, thickness, and a shape that is right for you.
I'm So Confused! What is the Difference Between Types?
Comparing different types of lash extensions is difficult because each company has come up with unique names for what they offer. It makes it difficult to compare apples-to-apples. We use names and definitions that are as clear as possible. We use the highest quality products (no pre-fab lash fans!) and every one of our eyelashes are individually curled and placed.
Does it Hurt?
No! Getting lash extensions is a luxurious and peaceful process and a great excuse for some "me" time or a quiet nap.
How Long Does it Take?
At Halcyon Cosmetic we allow up to 2 hours, depending on the look that you choose and whether this is a new set of lashes or a fill.
What Happens to My Existing Eyelashes?
Your existing lashes stay put, although they will continue to shed naturally.
How Do I Know if Lash Extensions are Right For Me?
If you have a busy life and want to wake up ready to go then both lashes and permanent makeup should be given some consideration. If you apply mascara daily and struggle to remove it at night, and want to save time but have defined lashes 24/7, then extensions are a must.
Can I Continue to Wear Eyeshadow and Other Makeup?
Yes, you certainly can but you should avoid all oil-based products and makeup removers. When removing eyeliner or eyeshadow, use a Q-tip for precision and to protect your eyelash extensions.
Can I Get My Lash Extensions Wet?
Yes, you can. You can shower as you normally would and even swim with eyelash extensions.
How Do I Take Care of My Extensions?
All that is required is gentle washing and a quick brush when you hop out of the shower.
What if I Decide I No Longer Want Them?
Do not try to remove your lashes yourself! This will result in pulling out your own lashes. Instead, please come in to have them professionally removed or alternatively, let them shed with your natural lashes.
